In Memoriam is a pet aftercare facility specializing in individual and private cremation of the family companion including large animal and equine. We are family-owned, operated and conveniently located. We respectfully honor pet parents within Virginia, Metro DC areas and beyond. With a state-of-the-art facility, we care for the smallest of pets to the largest. Our trained staff is knowledgeable, courteous and dedicated to meeting your needs. We pledge to treat all pets with the utmost respect, and we welcome any questions you may have.
All of our equipment is highly maintained and cared for. Our work area is always neat, clean and well kept. Because of the nature of our business there is not always personnel available to accommodate viewings. We may be out on call or tending to a grieving family. Please call if you would like to schedule a time to visit and tour our facility. There is a new separate receiving area for parents bringing pets to our facility for drop off.
From our state-of-the-art facility, we like to think of our team as state-of-the-heart professionals. We’re here to offer you empathy and advice on how to provide the after-care services you want for your pet. Dear Staff, Thank you so much for taking excellent care of our clients. Your compassion is immeasurable.
Dear Larry, I cant thank you enough for locating my Siamese cat, Casper last week. You were so helpful and kind to me and I'm so glad I decided to call you! The engraved wooden box is lovely and I feel much more at peace having Casper with me again, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
I want to thank you for all your help, and patience during this difficult time. Your knowledge, professionalism and efficiency helped make this sad situation more bearable. Now that Bunny is back my daughter is more calm and resigned. Again, thank you very much for all your help. Sincerely,
I just wanted to write a note to thank you for everything you did for us and Scout when his time came. I thought we had prepared but I was frantic, scared and oh so sad. Your calm demeanor, patience and willingness to help us did not go unnoticed. I just wanted to be sure you were aware of just how grateful we were. Thank you. Most Sincerely,
I would like to express my gratitude for what you have done for my family. We euthanized our pug, Emma, at Old Mill Veterinary on June 1st and decided to have her individually cremated. Three days after we made this heartbreaking decision, I received this beautiful card and box with my pet's ashes inside. Nothing will bring my friend of 12 years back, but this small gesture will help us cope with an unbearable loss. Thank you for helping us through this painful process.
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the wonderful service you provided. I recently lost my two German shepherds Winter and Takoda within 11 days of each other. Leesburg Veterinary Hospital utilized your services to handle the cremation of my boys. I was very pleased with the beautiful boxes that they were returned in and was touched to receive the clay paw prints. I very much appreciated this timely and professional service provided by your company.
From 12 to 23 you watched me grow up, you were a living memory of my childhood. All my friends, all my memories, all my best and worst days ended coming home to your welcoming. You were my pet, my buddy, and more than just a fish. Our college years were the best we had and those were your golden years. The many hours we spent staring at each other I knew there was a bond nobody else understood. I knew you were truly happy. You were the best fish puppy I could have asked for; you will truly be missed. Know you will always be close to home and close to my heart. Just keep swimming Randal, rest in peace.
Thank you very much for taking care of our Katie! We love the urn! Its beautiful!
I wanted to take time to thank you for the compassion and kindness. Thank you so much for taking care of our beloved deaf Dalmatian, Molly, and helped her return home to us again. I am deeply touched by the beautiful urn and silk bag, which she was returned to us in as she was a special girl. I am comforted knowing that you and your wonderful staff took wonderful care of Molly in the last four days after her passing. I am only simply surprised to have her back today earlier than later as expected, but did help us start our healing, knowing that we have her here at home again, and for that, we are forever grateful for your services. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of our baby girl. I will recommend In Memoriam Pet Services to any one who is in need for pet services.
I want to thank you for the lovely presentation of my darling Coco's ashes, her paw print, the lock of her hair and the seeds (which I planted). I was at the memorial service and meant to thank you personally, but was so emotionally drained at the end I just went home. She was such a special Puppy.....
Hiway still makes me smile. Miss him so much... You were so sweet and kind to deal with heart broken folks, like me and sweet Hiway!! He is still here and your kindness I pray makes you smile!!
I cannot express how grateful we were for how you helped us during our time of sadness. Thank you for your excellent service and quick return of our beloved Henry Joe's remains. The memorial box is beautiful.
Sophie was born May 11, 2004 in Bridgewater, NJ and came home with me at 8 weeks of age. She had such a kind soul and was incredibly loyal throughout her entire life. I could always count on her to be by my side. In her younger years, Sophie loved to watch tv, unravel toilet paper rolls, and would always have a stuffed animal in her mouth like a pacifier before bed. She would light up every time she saw me even when she became old and didn’t feel well. This girl was my miracle who was diagnosed with seizure like episodes her first year of life, mitral valve disease, AV block with a low heart rate, and finally stage 4 kidney failure. She was a fighter and fought her ailments years longer than predicted with lots of love, home cooked meals, and special care by multiple loving care givers. Know that I am crushed and will miss your wagging tail and beautiful face every day. Rest In Peace my sweet baby girl. We had over 15 wonderful years together, until we meet again. I love you so much. 💔
Thank you for all your kindness and help with Russell. The Box is Beautiful! Never easy losing a pet, but I found some comfort knowing he was taken care of every step of the way. Thank you again!
