09 Jan Val Turner In Memoriam
Valentina, my beloved feline companion, had a peaceful transition at home on January 5th. She was approximately 18 years old. The legend was that she was named Valentina because she was rescued from the streets on Valentine’s Day. I was a foster fail and adopted Val almost fourteen years ago.
Val and I moved to Arlington, VA in October 2016 and as one of the vet techs here described, “leaving the mean streets of the big city for this sweet, suburban living”. Yes, indeed! Thanks to all for your kind words of condolence and please do give your fur babies extra hugs and kisses today from me.
