Cremation & Memorialization Services

We provide dignified & compassionate care for your pet after its passing.

Our services include individual or communal cremations, pickup/delivery, private memorial ceremonies, and more — all centered on what you need in this difficult time. We also offer a variety of memorial products and keepsakes to commemorate your beloved pet. It would be our privilege to honor your pet should you find yourself in need of our services.

Included with additional services listed below scheduled pickup and delivery to and from your home or local veterinary office. Individual cremation of your pet, certified remains placed in a Memorial Urn. Complete package also includes certificate of individual cremation, Clay paw memorial and remembrance card.

Companion Cremation

Our Companion cremation package price, under additional services, includes scheduled pickup from your home or local veterinary office and respectful communal cremation of your companion. Communal pet cremation services are an alternative option for pet parents who may not want the remains of their pet returned. After cremation, the ashes are spread in designated green space throughout our property. This insures the final resting place of your pets remains will not be disturbed.

Equine and Large Pet Cremation

In Memoriam is the only cremation facility in the Northern Virginia area equipped to handle animals over 500 pounds and can accommodate up to 3000. We are trained in large animal rescue and have the specialized and necessary equipment to do so. Our area of service extends north through Maryland and Pennsylvania and south through Richmond and Charlottesville, VA. Price includes recovery, transport and cremation. We strive to keep costs affordable by returning cremains in a humble container offering optional urns with personalized nameplates.

All Pricing assumes animal is easily accessible by transport vehicle and trailer. Additional fees may apply based on circumstance, difficulty and duration of recovery.

For areas extending outside of 30 miles a recover fee will be assessed.

A minimum credit card deposit is required at time of dispatch.

Private Memorial Service & Witness

For those who prefer to be present at the time, we invite you to attend the cremation of your pet. This provides you the opportunity to embrace the loss of your pet and the assurance that his or her remains were handled professionally and respectfully. Our staff will explain how the process takes place and give you as much or as little attention you require. Please call or email for details and schedule. There is a $525.00 witness fee for this services above the cost of cremation.
