07 Oct Our Beautiful Yogi Bear
I took Yogi from a neighbor who was abusing him at around 2 years old. He had no idea what a toy was or how to play tug a war. A year later and my granddaughter, Zoey, was born. Those 2 became as thick as thieves. He was the ultimate best friend to her and us. Within a few years, his confidence grew, and the mouthiness came out in full fashion. Zoey taught him how to stomp his foot when mad which I have to admit was hilarious. He was the ultimate love of all our lives, and no one could refuse him nummies even when I told them not too. He got arthritis early in life due to being abused but always had a grin for everybody. I hated making the decision to have him put to sleep but I knew I couldn’t let him go thru hell any longer. He was loving and tail was wagging till the end. I will always miss him and know he can never be replaced. He was one of a kind and will always be in all of our hearts. He was well loved and spoiled but I wouldn’t trade any of my time with him. Love you Yogi Bear.
