Nelson

Nelson

Nelson fought hard to be in this world. He was a kitty who was found as a stray along Glebe Road, some 18 or so years ago. He had infected, diseased eyes and it would have been easy for the shelter to euthanize Nelson as a kitten. Instead the shelter saw how much he liked to eat and had a zest for living. They brought in a vet to remove his eyes. And he loved his life without eyes. He made up for his loss of site with other senses – touch, hearing and sound. He loved to meditate with Sue each morning. He ruled the house even over our 85 lb puppy. He was a sweat kitty who was well loved and gave love. He is missed but will now be with his brother Pax. He transitioned gently. Thank you Dr Badget.

Our office will be closed on May 26th for Memorial Day. We are available for emergencies.
