Last Saturday, September 26, 2026, we said goodbye to our beautiful Cici. 💔🐾
From the moment Jorja and I saw her at Petsmart, we fell in love. I had told Jorja, “Don’t get attached to any of the cats,” but Cici had other plans. Dad took one look at her the following week and said, “Get her before anyone else does.” And that was the beginning of our life with the sweetest, sassiest, most beautiful kitty.
I’ll miss her sitting in her globe in my office, moping at my desk, leading me to the doors when she wanted something, drinking from every faucet in the house, loving cheese (especially string cheese!), chasing Jorja and her own tail, and making herself comfortable wherever she pleased. I’ll miss those beautiful eyelashes, her colorful little mustache, her sassy walk, and seeing her tiny paw prints on the freshly made bed.
I’m especially grateful that working from home for the past six years meant I got to spend every day with her. Cici was our constant companion, our travel buddy, and such a special part of our family.
We would give anything for one more day, one more cuddle, one more sassy look, one more “show me what you want.” ❤️
Run free, sweet Cici. You were so loved, and you will be missed more than words can ever say. Until we meet again. 🐾🌈❤️
