To my best little bud, Felix – We Love You Always and Forever
Rest in peace Felix. 🌈 4/26/2021 – 7/14/2026
You came to us so small and bright,
A little wheek, a little squeak,
A handful of fur and personality,
Yet somehow you filled entire rooms.
You taught us that joy could be simple: A favorite treat, A fresh pile of hay, A sunny patch on the floor, A familiar voice calling your name.
Through the years you became family, Not simply a pet, But a companion woven into our days, A constant presence in our home and our hearts.
When life became harder, You fought with a courage far bigger than your tiny body. We counted every meal, Every medicine, Every little poop, Every good day and every bad one, Because every moment with you mattered.
You surprised us time and time again, Bouncing back when we were worried, Finding your appetite, Finding your spark, Reminding us never to give up too easily.
And when the time came That your tired little body could fight no more, We made the hardest choice a family can make— Not because we stopped loving you, But because we loved you too much To ask you to keep suffering for our sake.
We hope you knew how cherished you were.
How every vet visit, Every late-night feeding, Every worried conversation, Every ounce of effort, Came from a place of love.
We hope you knew that when you rested in your sleeping bag, When you sat in the sunshine, When you accepted Critical Care from our hands, You were surrounded by the people who loved you most.
You left this world wrapped in that love.
Now there are no more medicines, No more discomfort, No more difficult days.
Just endless fields of fresh hay, Warm sunshine, And all the bananas your heart could desire.
Thank you, Felix, For the laughter, The lessons, The companionship, And the privilege of being your family.
You were small in size, But enormous in the space you occupy in our hearts.
You were deeply loved.
And you always will be.
❤️ Felix
